With the registration closed and less than a week left for the competition, the final list of participants for the European Cyclo-cross Championships in the Illa das Esculturas in Pontevedrais already known . A debut of the category in a big way, with a very good acceptance and that will put in dispute the first continental titles.
Next Friday, 1 November, the master’s races will be in charge of inaugurating the European Cyclo-cross Championships. A total of 321 riders have registered to participate in the debut of these categories in the competition, and the races will start at 10 am with the men’s masters 65+ and the women’s masters 50+.
Then at 11am it will be the turn of the men’s masters 55 and 60; and the women’s masters 35, 40 and 45. At 13:30 the men’s masters 45 and 50 will start; while the men’s masters 35 and 40 will close at 15:00.
A total of 18 European countries will be represented in the master categories of the European Cyclo-cross Championships. There will be cyclists from Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Estonia, Luxembourg, Norway and Denmark. A great opportunity to enjoy the event but also the wonderful city of Pontevedra.
