The Galician Cycling Federation, the European Cycling Union and EBU (Eurovision) are finalising their efforts to ensure that all the competitions will be broadcast live from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 November.
The list of television channels from all over Europe that will broadcast the European Cyclo-cross Championships, which will take place next week in Illa das Esculturas, a circuit that is practically ready for the event, has already been confirmed.
It has been more than three months since the Eurovision professionals, accompanied by the organising committee and the European Cycling Union officials, made a technical visit to the circuit to define all the details of the television broadcasting. In the end, the four races on Sunday (men’s and women’s under-23 and men’s and women’s elite) will be broadcast on television on channels all over Europe.
Specifically, the coverage in Spain and Europe will be mainly on Eurosport and the HBO MAX App. In ‘La Casa del Ciclismo’ the four races will be followed from 10:45h. VRT for Belgium will also broadcast the entire competition on its different channels and media, as well as STVR Sport in Slovakia.
The elite men’s and women’s races from 14h will also be followed by TVG, the Galician Television, that will broadcast the event in its region, with special attention and affection. Also NPO1 on NOS in the Netherlands; TVP Sport in Poland; L’Equipe in France; and RTBF TiPik in Belgium.
But the coverage is also guaranteed for all the master races on Friday and Team Relay on Saturday, as well as the junior races on Sunday. The Federación Ciclismo Galego will broadcast the rest of the competitions live on its Youtube channel, with an open signal worldwide. The best guarantee that you will not miss any detail of the European Cyclo-cross Championships in Pontevedra.
