The organisers of the European Cyclo-cross Championships 2024, which will be held in the Illa das Esculturas in Pontevedra, have already confirmed the presence of major brands from the world of cycling in the Expo Zone, where fans and sponsors will enjoy a unique event close to Lérez River.
Cycling companies, collaborating brands, institutions and sponsors in general. They all have their space in the Expo Zone of the European Cyclo-cross Championships 2024. The Federación Ciclismo Galego, organiser of this competition, has set up the spaces so that the exhibition of the tents is maximum and all the fans can enjoy not only the competition, but also the brands and institutions that have wanted to be part of the event.
In this Expo Zone, the presence of cycling sportswear brands stands out, with the presence of ALÉ, in charge of making the European Champions’ jerseys that the winners in Pontevedra will wear on the podium. OttoBosley, a Galician sportswear brand that also supports the Galician Cycling Federation, will also be present. Together with them, Inverse as sponsor of the Spanish National Team (which will compete in the different races of the European Championship with its called-up riders); and also the socks brand Maldita Buena Suerte.
Regarding the institutions, the Conselleria do Mar of the Xunta de Galicia has wanted to be part of the event to spread its activity and raise awareness among all the attendees. It will install four food trucks of its campaign Galicia Sabe AMar with the aim of encouraging all citizens to consume fish and seafood to have a healthier life. This initiative aims to show the versatility of seafood products and highlight the work carried out by thousands of professionals in the community. The food trucks offer the people who come to them different snacks made from certified Galician seafood products such as cockles from Noia, Galician mussels and tuna from the north.
More brands from the cycling world do not want to miss this European Championships in Pontevedra, such as the Italian Vittoria, specialist in top quality tyres for competitive cycling; the sports nutrition and supplementation brand 226ers; or the bike shop MotoBike Pontevedra, which will also have competitive representation in the master category of this European Championships.
The Spanish Cycling Federation will also be present in the Expo Zone, to promote its DigiCycle project, in which the RFEC participates together with other European National Federations and the UEC itself, as well as the Women in Bike and the Carnet Ciclista initiatives, and there will also be a stand for the 2024 Cyclo-cross Masters World Championships, which will be held in Hamburg from 29 November to 1 December.
